Redemption Maduro Robusto
This 5×50 stick offered a dark chocolate, satin wrapper with a slight oil sheen and tooth. Very small veins and clean seams ran the length to a triple cap all packed perfectly. Draw was slightly firm with perfect resistance for an almost razor sharp burn all the way down, even after sitting for 5 minutes unattended. The smoke was extremely rich and thick with tremendous volume from the first 1/2″ down.
El Titan de Bronze Redemption Maduro
Upon initial light you realize that this is not the sweet Maduro you may be used to, you are greeted with an earthly powerful spice. As you smoke through this segment you may encounter cocoa, coffee, earthiness, and some other unique spices. The smoke is thick and coats your palate but it does not leave the typical Maduro sweetness, again, it has a finish that is a bit earthy.
The middle of the cigar doesn’t loose any complexity. The most notable change is going to come from the finish of each puff. The spice has lessened a bit and you now get a hint of the sweetness a typical maduro will leave. Because the spice has slightly subdued you will experience more of the cocoa flavors.

El Titan de Bronze: the quaintest mom-and-pop shop I found on my tobacco journey, exudes an atmosphere of authenticity unmatched. On the counter sits a cigar-filled jar reading, “Smuggled Cuban cigars; stolen from Castro’s private stash.” Those stogies sell for only a buck.

Vitola: Robusto
Wrapper: Connecticut
Origin: USA
Thanks again to Willy Herrera at El Titan de Bronze for letting me get a chance to review some of their fine cigars. Next up, the El Titan de Bronze Gold Robusto!
This is a great looking looking cigar with barely visible veins. It looks like it’s going to be a nice smooth mild smoke.
El Titan de Bronze Redemption Belicoso
Antonio Maceo y Grajales was “El Titan de Bronce,” the Bronze Titan. Second in command of the Cuban Liberation Army, he led a comparatively small force of Cuban rebels against the formidable Spanish army during the Cuban War for Independence, slowly bleeding the Spanish of almost a quarter of a million soldiers until he himself fell in battle in 1896. Due to his ferocity –and his Afro-Cuban complexion– he was called the Bronze Titan.
El Titan De Bronze Gran Reserve Review
On our recent Cigar trip to Florida, we spent some time at Historic Calle Ocho. One of our stops was the El Titan de Bronze Cigar store. In the store there were two cigar rollers. El Titan De Bronze was started in 1995, and they pride themselves on quality over quantity. They produce a cigar with very high care and attention to detail. From what I have learned “They only employ the best to hand-roll their cigars, and most have experience at some of the top factories in the world such as Partagas and Romeo y Julieta.”
El Titan De Bronze Redemption
The El Titan de Bronze Redemption is the newest addition to the El Titan De Bronze Family. The cigars are produced in the USA at El Titan De Bronze Cigar Manufacturing Company in Miami, Florida. The factory is located on the corner of 8th and 11th streets (Calle Ocho) and shares the area with the famed La Gloria Cubana and El Rey de los Habanos Factories.
